Making a complaint

If something went wrong in our work together, we want to know. Below is exactly how to make a complaint, how long you will wait for a reply and where you can turn if our reply does not satisfy you.

How to make your complaint

Send it in writing to info@daneio-online.gr or by post to Mavrommataion 6, 106 82 Athens, Greece. Give your full name, a way to contact you, what happened and when, and what you would consider a satisfactory solution. If you have related documents or messages, attach them.

You do not need to use a particular form, and there is no cost.

How long we take to reply

We confirm receipt within two working days. We reply in writing, with reasons, within thirty calendar days of receipt. If looking into it needs more time, we will tell you before that deadline, explaining why and when to expect a reply.

What we can and cannot look into

We look into anything about our own conduct: the information we gave you, how quickly we responded, how we handled your details, the conduct of anyone who spoke to you on our behalf.

We do not decide on granting loans. If your complaint is about a request being refused, the interest rate, the terms or a lender’s conduct, the lender itself is responsible. Tell us anyway: we will tell you whom to contact and pass on whatever you ask us to.

If you are not satisfied

Our reply does not limit any of your rights. You can turn to an independent out-of-court dispute resolution body, without losing the possibility of going to court.

  • The Consumer Ombudsman (Synigoros tou Katanaloti) — an independent authority for disputes between consumers and suppliers (synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
  • The Hellenic Financial Ombudsman — an alternative dispute resolution body for financial services (hobis.gr).
  • The General Secretariat for Commerce and Consumer Protection — complaints about commercial practices (efpolis.gr).

For cross-border disputes, the European Commission keeps the list of recognised alternative dispute resolution bodies in each member state. The former European online dispute resolution platform stopped operating on 20 July 2025.

Complaints about your personal data

If the complaint is about how we handled your data, see the Privacy policy. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
